Cleveland-based group the Dream Masons dropped its new single today, the band’s first since April.
Singer Annastacia Monroe and guitarist Eric Hellinger added Austin Harpel on drums and Brandon Kessel on bass earlier this year. Harpel and Kessel have helped steer the band in a new direction, toward a more blues-centric, less straightforward alt-rock sound.
“We’re saying goodbye to older sounds,” Monroe said. “I’m excited about the dreamy and bluesy place we’re taking the band.”
“Ways” is the third single the Dreams Masons have released this year. It is a groovy, ethereal track that builds up to a climax and comes crashing back down. Check it out below, and keep an eye out for a new video from the band coming in spring of 2018.
